The banner would need to say for now "We are open!! Our trail rides will not be affected by the Chisos Basin closure in BBNP!"

Thanks for requesting this. Being able to put a timely announcement in front of visitors—and remove it when it’s no longer relevant—is useful for many operators.
Native announcement banners are planned. You’ll be able to add text and optional links, with a start and end date/time so the banner can appear and disappear automatically. We don’t have a release date yet.
If you still need an announcement on your site in the meantime, email support@gondola.travel with the current wording and when it should be shown. We’ll keep this request updated as the scheduled-banner feature progresses.
